- Is there a large dining room for 26 persons at Luxury Loire Gites?
No there isn’t. Each villa has its own dining area.
Should you book the 5 gites, you won’t have an indoor area to sit down together and to have meals together.
Sitting down all together is possible only outdoor in the courtyard.
Luxury Loire Gites is not set up to welcome wedding parties or business seminars.
- Is there air conditioning in the villas?
Each villa has an air conditioning devices with water cooling system. In addition there are fans.
- Is breakfast available?
Our villas are gites; it means self-catering accommodations.
As a consequence breakfast is not available at Luxury Loire Gites.
- Are there hypoallergenic pillows?
All pillows are hypoallergenic pillows.
- Do I need to bring my pool towels?
Yes you should bring your pool towels because we don’t provide pool towels.
If you forget to bring yours, you’ll be able to rent pool towels during your stay at Luxury Loire Gites.
Price is 10 euros per towel and per week.
- Is it possible to access the internet at Luxury Loire Gites?
There is a free WiFi access available in each villa.
- What are arrival and departure times?
We are welcoming you from 4pm on arrival day.
Departure time is 10am at the latest on departure day.
- Is it possible to rent bicycles?
Bicycles for adults and children are available for free.
We are providing helmets, safety jackets and small backpack.
Should you prefer an electric bike, we have one and you can rent it for 5 euros per half-day.
- May I cancel my booking?
You can cancel it free of charge up to 24 hours before your arrival date.
In the event of cancellation less than 24 hours before your arrival date, absence or early departure, the total amount of the reservation will be due and debited from the card associated with your file.
- Is there a car park available on site?
Free outdoor parking is available at Luxury Loire Gites.
- Is it possible to stay longer than initially planned?
Yes, if your villa is not booked afterwards or if you agree to occupy another villa with an equivalent number of bedrooms.
- Is the wellness area accessible without a reservation?
Access to the wellness area requires a reservation. Access to the wellness area is free. The wellness area is reserved for people staying at Luxury Loire Gites.
- What should I bring to enjoy my stay?

Luxury Loire Gites is a cocoon of greenery where young and old alike meet around many activities.
- Do I need a car when staying at Luxury Loire Gites?
Access to Luxury Loire Gites is by car, motorbike or bicycle.
The nearest shops are 8 kilometers away. A means of locomotion is essential to go shopping in the local markets.
A car will also be useful for exploring the surroundings and getting around freely.
You always have the option of renting a car when you arrive at the airport (Paris, Tours, Limoges, or Poitiers) or at the train station (Tours or Châteauroux).
- What is included in the weekend rate?
The weekend rate includes the rental of the villa, bed linen (beds are prepared before your arrival), bathroom linen and dish towels as well as departure cleaning.
Electricity, water and heating are included in the price.
Access to the swimming pool, to the wellness area and to the fitness room are included in the price of the stay.
We do not provide pool towels. If you forget yours, you can rent some during your stay; the price is 10 euros per week.
- What is included in the weekly rate?
The weekly rate includes the rental of the villa, bed linen (beds are prepared before your arrival), bathroom linen and dish towels as well as departure cleaning. For a stay of a week or more, we offer you a welcome basket with local products. Electricity, water and heating are included in the price. Access to the swimming pool, to the wellness area and to the fitness room are included in the price of the stay. There is no supplement, everything is included in the rental price.
- Is Luxury Loire Gites located in the countryside or in a city?
We enjoy a privileged location, a few hundred meters from the Regional Natural Park of La Brenne and a stone's throw from the Chateaux de la Loire. Luxury Loire Gites is located in the countryside, on 5 hectares of land, very wooded, with a pond. Refuge LPO (BirdLife), Luxury Loire Gites shares its land with a multitude of birds, butterflies, squirrels, hedgehogs, foragers and sometimes even wild boars, hinds and deer. All this while being 10 minutes from Châtillon-sur-Indre, 20 minutes from the royal city of Loches and 30 minutes from many châteaux or the Beauval zoo.
- Are pets welcome?
We love animals very much, but we cannot accommodate your pet. Indeed, the property consists of 5 villas and not everyone likes the company of animals. In addition, more and more people are allergic to cat or dog hair. To avoid any problems, we do not accept pets. To help you, near you there are certainly boarding houses for pets that take great care of your little ones.
- Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is prohibited in the cottages, around the swimming pool and in all common areas (fitness room, games room, wellness area, library, …).
A smoking area is set up outside, in the garden, with armchairs and an outdoor ashtray.
- Is the fitness room accessible for free?
Absolutely, the fitness room is freely accessible for our guests, all day long from 8 am to 11 pm.
- Is swimming pool heated?
Yes the swimming pool is heated with a heat pump. The water temperature is kept around 28 degrees. The swimming pool is also covered.
- Is the wellness area reserved to a particular cottage?
The wellness area is shared between the different open cottages. It is necessary to reserve a time slot to access the jacuzzi and sauna.
- Is the swimming pool shared or reserved for a particular cottage?
The swimming pool is shared between the 5 cottages. In 2020 it is shared between the 3 cottages which are open. In 2020, we are organizing time slots for use by gite. So every family can enjoy the swimming pool in complete safety. We disinfect slabs, handles and wooden seats after each use by a family.
- what measures are you taking to ensure our safety from Covid-19?
Physical distancing: We are only opening 3 out of 5 cottages in 2020. Each villa has an independent entrance with a specific path. There are therefore a maximum of 3 families on the 5 hectare property. The swimming pool and the spa are accessible by time slot and by cottage with a disinfection time between each visit. Hygiene and barrier gestures: We respect the government instructions published by the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Health as well as the recommendations formulated by Atout France. Thus we guarantee the protection of our staff and the disinfection of your villa before your arrival. We have set up a 24-hour crawl space between each rental.

- Are cots and high chairs available?
Yes, with great pleasure! On request before your arrival, we prepare a cot and a high chair that we install in your villa. We can also lend you a changing mat, a bath seat for babies up to 8 months, a child seat to fit on the toilet or a child step to access the toilet seat. And all this… for free. We want you to have a worry-free stay.
- What are the opening hours of the swimming pool?
In July and August the swimming pool is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Between April and June, then September and October, the swimming pool is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
